Participation in the Smart and Sustainable Cities Online Conference

The online conference focussing on environmental consequences of urbanization and solutions on safe, comfortable and environmentally friendly city life took place from July 8-10. This year's main theme was "Advanced technologies for sustainable development of urban green infrastructure". Our team contributed with a presentation about "Carbon and water fluxes of an urban forest in Moscow" together with colleagues from the People's Friendship University of Russia and the Russian Timiryazev State Agrarian University. Additionally, out team presented a poster on "Effects of small water bodies on the urban heat island in a medium size city in Germany" and won the poster award.
